Filip Krajinovic defeated fellow countryman and organizer of the Adria Tour, Novak Djokovic in the 2nd match at the tournament.

After Krajinovic lost to Zverev and Djokovic defeated Troicki, they met in the match which meant a lot for both. Djokovic could lead his group after the first day, and Krajinovic needed a victory to stay in touch with the final at the Adria Tour.
The more-experienced Serbian started the match with 4-2 victory in the first set as it seemed to be an easy victory for world number 1. However, Krajinovic converted his only breakpoint in the second set to win it 4-2 and reach the third decisive set.
There, Krajinovic had 5 breakpoints out of which he converted 2. On the other hand, Djokovic didn't convert the only opportunity he had and so world number 32 triumphed 2-4, 4-2, 4-1 after an hour and 4 minutes.
