Alexander Zverev defeated Diego Schwartzman with ease to win yet another trophy in Cologne.

When Alexander Zverev and Diego Schwartzman got paired up for the bett1HULKS Championship final many expected a great match. It didn't go that way but Sasha Zverev put on a clinic and defeated Diego 6-2 6-1 in just 71 minutes of play. Diego started the match well winning his opening service game with ease and even playing some good rallies on Sasha's serve. But it all went downhill quickly for him as Zverev grew more confident as time passed on. His level increased and he looked stunning on the court winning rallies and serving well. Schwartzman got attacked on his 2nd serve every time and that brought results. The opening set was won with 6-2.
The 2nd set was even quicker and more impressive. The recipe was the same as Zverev once again attacked Diego on his own 2nd serve. Zverev was impressive on his own serve so he didn't really need to worry about that. Diego struggled immensely on his 2nd serve winning only one of 10 points they played. Zverev marched on and finished off the set and match with a 6-1 2nd set victory. It was a stunning display from Zverev who was clearly the best player in Cologne for the past fortnight. His reward is two titles from events that may never be played again. The victory and trophy are much deserved as Schwartzman didn't really show up to the match.
