- "Sticking with it," by all accounts in her past, has not been her pattern.
Unless she has drastically changed her priorities she will remain a 2nd or 3rd Rounder. As for her mental state, her inability to follow coach and team instructions or suggestions... that's been a major conundrum.
- "Shock retirement" ???
A "shock" to whom exactly? This is just too weird. She abandonded a sport in which she was slightly above-average, was basically forgotten, and now comes back for this promotional 'goodbye'?
Get a grip.

The actual ability to make those changes successfully is another.

SHAME ON TENNISUPTODATE.
- Well, that training block did not seem to do much for her game because she hit 23 double faults in her game with Danielle. Yes, she won, but what player wants to win nasty? Frankly, Coco needs to fire the coach she currently has and hire the same guy who helped Sabalenka when she had her serving woes. The TV commentators, former players and coaches can see the issues with the motion of her serve; so why can her coach not see that!? He made her change her grip and the serving got worse!!! Fire him, Coco and get someone who can help with the mechanics of your serve.
- Lena -- do you have an attraction to people who cannot / will not do you any positive Good??
- If she were a laborer in the Real World, she would have been fired ad nauseum for repeatedly 'calling in sick'.
- Is this going to be another 'Second-String' Final?
Are there still any wildcards FOR SALE??
