The disdain for pickleball continues to grow in the tennis community, with former pro Rennae Stubbs among the latest to express her dislike for the sport.
During the 2022 PPA Championships in Vegas, a women's doubles quarterfinal match got contentious when one team was accused of unfair play due to their constant lobbing of the ball while the sun was in their opponents eyes. This led to an exchange of words, with the clip going viral.
Player's actions draws Stubbs ire
Stubbs, who is known for her dislike of pickleball, posted the clip to her Instagram story while mocking one of the player's involved.
"Imagine playing a sport where u get upset with your opponents for playing a shot that wins them the point! Dumbest game even," she wrote on her Instagram stories. "Also Karen calm down."
