Andre Agassi and Andy Roddick win $1m Pickleball Slam with victory over John McEnroe and Michael Chang

The rivalry of Andre Agassi and John McEnroe was revived on Sunday night albeit in a different but similar sport of Pickleball but it was the former and Andy Roddick that scooped the $1m prize for winning the inaugural Pickleball Slam in Hollywood.

The Slam had two singles matches and one doubles match, with the latter worth two points. McEnroe defeated Agassi 15-13, 16-14 in the first singles match, while Roddick saw off Chang 15-10, 15-10 in the second match.

It was decided by doubles with Agassi and Roddick prevailing 21-15, 21-23, 12-10. Steffi Graf, wife of Agassi was also in attendance and she subbed in at one point much to the delight of the crowd.
