Emma Raducanu has shared some photos and videos of her time spent relaxing in her hometown of Bromley, London.

The 20-year-old has been absent for a large part of this season. She last competed at the Stuttgart Open in April, where she lost her first-round match against Jelena Ostapenko in straight sets.

Raducanu burst onto the tennis scene two years ago when she became the first unseeded qualifier to win a Grand Slam title at the 2021 US Open. However, she has been dealing with injuries as of late that have made it difficult for her to maintain success on the WTA Tour. Earlier this year, she announced that she would be undergoing surgery on her wrists and right ankle.

Although this meant that Raducanu had to put an end to her 2023 season, she shared regular updates with her fans as she underwent and recovered from surgery before getting back to training in Shenyang, China.

Now, she has posted some snapshots of her time at home on her Instagram page with the caption: "gym, Bromley, dumplings, me & more dumplings, full moon & my city, shade play, mapo tofu, red roses company, and both British weathers."

In the post, the Brit can be seen doing exercises with weights, as well as making food and enjoying some time outdoors. This is accompanied by pictures of scenery, a video of London at night, and a clip of some rainy weather.

During her absence from the Tour, Raducanu has dropped out of the Top 200 in the WTA Ranking, currently sitting at No. 279. However, she has stated that she plans to return in 2024 and has some big dreams for her future in the sport.

"Next season I'll be back. This season all the slams were finished so it was difficult to watch them go by but I was trying to stay in my lane as much as possible and keep focused on my recovery.

"Wimbledon is the dream and always has been growing up. It's still the ultimate dream to win Wimbledon," she said.
