The Cincinnati Open has announced the event will stay in Cincinnati for the foreseeable future, following some rumors that the tournament was on the verge of finding a new home in Charlotte.
Reigning champions Coco Gauff and Novak Djokovic were involved in the announcement, with the good news being a delight to local fans who have visited the various stadiums in throngs to support their favorite superstars.

Cincinnati Open to be a two-week event by 2025

In addition to having over $200 million invested in stadium improvements and architecture, the tournament will also be held over a full two weeks starting in 2025.
This year's edition saw Djokovic defeat Carlos Alcaraz in a thrilling three-set final, whereas Gauff claimed her maiden WTA Masters title by defeating French Open finalist Karolina Muchova in a highly-entertaining match.
