Grigor Dimitrov is set to work alongside Christian Groh for the 2020 season according to TennisKafe.com despite admitting last month that he is not in a panic to find a new coach.
It seems like Dimitrov is in good hands though with Groh previously working with Tommy Haas and Taylor Fritz with the former being guided from the top 200 to 11th in the ATP rankings.
Back in May, Dimitrov ended his collaboration with Dani Vallverdu after almost three years working together and this came after he exited the top 50 in the world since 2012.
He is still working with Andre Agassi in a consultation role but has walked away from Radek Stepanek to work with Christian Groh.
“I’m not in a panic right now to find a coach. I always think that when I don’t have someone beside me, it’s hard to train. However, in the past months, I have done things myself that I have not done.” Dimitrov previously told reporters in November.
“You need to have freedom, to find yourself, to become closer to yourself.” He added.
