Novak Djokovic made fun of the shorts Stan Wawrinka wore during his 2015 Roland Garros triumph once again as he practiced for the Adria Tour in Zadar.
In 2015,
Stan Wawrinka has won his only title at the Roland Garros. In the final, he defeated Novak Djokovic 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 and 6-4. His triumph was not known just for his great performance but also for his outfit.
The Swiss wore red-checkered shorts and the whole tennis world was making fun of those. After winning the title, he said: “You guys didn't like them until I won Roland-Garros. That's why they are famous now.”
Now, Novak Djokovic practiced ahead of the Adria Tour tournament that is about to kick-off in Zadar. The Serbian wore crazy beach shorts and on his Instagram account, he wrote:
"After a tennis session with Stefan, we cleaned the court. Forgive my shorts selection. Came to the court from the beach. Some guys have this kind of shorts style for official tennis matches," wrote Djokovic and tagged Stan Wawrinka in the post.
Wawrinka then liked the post and replied in comments: "Hahahha love it!"
