Novak Djokovic has revealed his future plans for the rest of 2019 and the off season before the 2020 season starts after his defeat to Stefanos Tsitsipas in Shanghai.

Djokovic said that he is scheduled to play in Paris and London now and that he will likely have a few weeks off but despite that he will stay in Europe potentially after playing in Madrid before it all starts again.
It all forms a hectic season for the Serbian who will also attempt to play in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and he also added that obstacles like that are very much in the way.
“Scheduled to play Paris and London for now," said Djokovic after his defeat to Tsitsipas.
"Those are kind of questions that appear in conversation, latest conversations that I had with my wife, as well (smiling).
"It's, like, short offseason, what does that mean, where do we go, what do we do? You know, it is the way it is, I guess, and also in the upcoming Olympic year, it's again shorter offseason in the summertime. So those are the kind of obstacles in a way."
"Challenges, as well, if you have a family. It's easier when you don't have kids obviously, can decide whatever you want to do or travel to the end of the world and back in a day. But with kids it's completely different."
"We still have not decided what, you know, what we want to do after Madrid. Of course I'm going to take a rest for couple of weeks. Where we're going to go, we still don't know. But I think more or less 100% I'm going to stay in Europe for the preparation and maybe use Dubai for a little bit."
