Chris Evert and
Andy Roddick expressed their joy for Martina
Navratilova, who was able to go skiing again after overcoming cancer.
The
Czech-American former tennis player revealed last year that she had received a
double diagnosis of breast cancer and throat cancer, 13 years after winning her
first battle against breast cancer. Just three weeks ago, the 18-time Grand
Slam champion shared the news that she was cancer-free again after undergoing
radiation and chemotherapy treatments.
Navratilova
recently took to social media to share that she was able to go skiing at Aspen
Mountain again after facing cancer treatments: "So grateful to be back on
my beloved Aspen Mountain, finally. Was supposed to go before Christmas but my
body had other ideas. Day 1 is in the books," she shared on Twitter.

Chris Evert
wasted no time in responding to the post, showing support for her former rival
on tour: "So happy for you," wrote Evert. Andy Roddick also commented
on the former world No. 1's post: "Hell yes," wrote the American.
