The tennis world is also halted by the Coronavirus pandemic. Nevertheless, the Mutua Madrid Open will be played this week albeit virtually. Sixteen top tennis players will hand in their racket for a controller and compete against each other in the computer game Tennis World Tour.

The players are divided into four groups with Group 1 as the so-called 'group of death' with Rafael Nadal, Benoit Paire, Denis Shapovalov and Andy Murray set to face off.
The group phase will be completed on Monday and Tuesday from 3 p.m. and on Wednesday the quarterfinals will follow. Thursday is the final day with both the semifinals and the final, which starts at 6 p.m.

The Fantasy Mutua Madrid Open Virtual ATP 2020 starts on Monday 27 April 2020 at 15:00 hours CET. You have a budget of 42 million euro to buy 6 tennis players of which you think are going to win the most points in the Fantasy Mutua Madrid Open Virtual ATP 2020.
The tennis players will earn points for your team in the group stage for every game they win. After the group stage a tennis player can win points per round for your team for reaching the quarter finals, semi finals, final and winning the Mutua Madrid Open Virtual ATP.
The game will cost £4.38/€5 per team and will start with a guaranteed amount of £130/€148 in prizes. The first prize will be £42/€4 (5 GC prizes).
