Roger Federer is into his 1000th consecutive week in the World's top 30 it has been revealed in what is a brilliant feat from the legendary Swiss player.
As an 18-year old in the 2000 season, he was on the verge of the top 60 and after a semi-final in Vienna and the final in Basel, Federer was into the top-30 and has stayed there ever since for 1000 weeks.
This shows his true greatness on the tennis court and shows him to be one of the best of all time in terms of consistency which has been hard to replicate.
This run will likely go on for a lot longer as well as he remains among the players to beat, finishing in the top 3 behind two other stalwarts in Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic and he has claimed four ATP titles in 2019.
Say what you want about Federer but this latest stat shows he is one of the greatest and it seems he is here to stay.
