Matteo Berrettini had to withdraw from the UTR Pro Match Series due to a sprained ankle and therefore he was replaced by Hubert Hurkacz.
The UTR Pro Match Series should bring tennis to fans during the Coronavirus lockdown. The tournament with 4 ATP players should begin already on 8th May 2020. Reilly Opelka, Tennys Sandgren and Tommy Paul should have been joined by Matteo Berrettini. However, the young Italian won't be able to take part in the competition and so he was replaced by Hubert Hurkacz.
Matteo also shared the news on his Instagram account, when he wrote: "So sad to not be able to participate at the UTR Pro Match Series event due to a little injury. Hope to see you guys at the next event!"
