3-time Grand Slam champion, Stan Wawrinka spoke on RTS Sport about why he currently doesn't participate in any tournaments.
During the Tour suspension, many tennis players play in the local tennis tournaments. However, 35-years-old Swiss didn't fully return to tennis since the beginning of the Tour Suspension. Now, Wawrinka explained why he doesn't take part in any tournaments.
"I had a lot of requests to play in particular in Switzerland, abroad, but also in Serbia with the initiative of Novak which is taking its turn. For the moment, I haven't completely resumed tennis. From June, I will resume playing and training with more intensity. My vision is that as long as I'm not in shape to be able to make matches, I don't want to play, to take risks like that of injuring myself," said Wawrinka.
