"I would wanna play with Andre Agassi" - Osaka on ideal doubles partner

Naomi Osaka is one of the most interesting women in tennis. 22-years-old Japanse turned pro already at the age of 15 and at the age of 21 she was already world number 1 in the WTA Ranking. Even before that, she managed to win the 2018 US Open at the age of 20 when she defeated Serena Williams in the final.

Now, Osaka spoke to Tennis Channel in their confessional cart. She answered many interesting questions, including who would she like to play doubles with. You can read the full interview below:

What's your favorite thing to do on a day off?

"Honestly, probably watching Netflix at home. But I think getting out, recently, because I just moved. And I like riding a bike from Venice to Manhattan."

If you could play an Olympic sport besides tennis, what would it be?

"I really like watching gymnastics, but it seems so difficult and they all seem to be so fit. So maybe, diving," Osaka admitted.

If you were a character in Mario Tennis who would you be?

"Bowser. Because he is slow and powerful, like me."

Someone you'd like to switch places with for a day?

"Rihanna. Because, I know she works really hard, but nobody sees it. So I just want to see her work ethics," Osaka said.

What is your most-used emoji?

"Probably the laughing face." (?)

If you could choose a retired player to play doubles with, who would it be?

"I would wanna play with Andre Agassi, or Li Na. Li Na just for the fun because I know she is gonna be nice and I am gonna say a lot, but she is gonna be cool about it. And Agassi because I read his book and it really inspired me."
