Australian Open doubles champion, Thanasi Kokkinakis lifted Australia into the Davis Cup Finals with a decisive singles rubber victory on Saturday.
Lleyton Hewitt's Australian side went into Day Two tied at 1-1 with Hungary with Fabian Marozsan and Mate Valkusz upsetting established pairing of John Peers and Luke Saville 6-4, 6-4.
This left World Number 30, Alex de Minaur to win against Martin Fucsovics on home soil and he claimed it 7-6, 6-4 so it was all up to Kokkinakis who repaid the faith with a 6-4, 6-4 success over Zsombor Piros.
In Seoul, Soon-woo Kwon saw off Dennis Novak 7-5, 7-5 to get them over the line against Austria with Croatia, Great Britain and Serbia already through.
Russia, the defending champions have been axed over the invasion of Ukraine so a replacement will be decided.
