Martina Navratilova absent from parade of champions at Wimbledon after testing positive for COVID-19

Taking place today at Wimbledon is the Parade of Champions with Roger Federer among those in attendance but the greatest champion in history in Martina Navratilova will not be there.

Navratilova has attended the tournament prior to today but tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday morning meaning she will not be there according to Stuart Fraser of the Times.

She becomes the latest high profile figure to test positive with Matteo Berrettini, Marin Cilic and Roberto Bautista-Agut all in the men's draw as well as Tamara Korpatsch who was due to play doubles with Harmony Tan and caused a social media storm due to comments made about the Frenchwoman.
