Tennis legend Martina Navratilova says that she is all clear of cancer after a full day of tests in New York on Monday afternoon.
She revealed in January that she had been diagnosed with throat cancer and breast cancer and would begin treatment that month.
This after previously having breast cancer in 2010 and noticing an enlarged lymph node in her neck in November which was the early stages of throat cancer.
"After a day full of tests at Sloan Kettering, I got the all clear! Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, proton and radiation magicians etc- what a relief," said Navratilova.
Before ending with two hashtags: "#byebyecancer and yes, #f***cancer."
Returning to work after initially getting the all clear in March, she said she was doing well at the ceremony for her Golden Racquet in Rome.
'I've gone through a very difficult year but now I'm OK,' Navratilova said at the time.
As well as going onto Piers Morgan Uncensored and saying that she is cancer-free and would be 'good to go' after some additional radiation treatment and it seems now to be the case in superb news for the 59 time Grand Slam champion.
