Monfils joins packed field at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship

Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Stefanos Tsitsipas already confirmed their participation in Abu Dhabi. Now another player from the TOP 10 confirmed that he will play in Abu Dhabi. Gael Monfils joined the other star names to create an interesting line-up for an event that will be played during December 2019.

Gaël Monfils’ confirmation is proof of our desire to bring the global tennis elite to the UAE’s capital and treat spectators to the unique opportunity of watching five of the ten best males players in the World in a unique festival atmosphere that is fast-becoming a signature of this special Championship."

About playing in Abu Dhabi, Monfils said: “Having played in Abu Dhabi before, I know the special atmosphere of this Championship and I am really excited to be coming back. I am looking forward to going up against a strong field and I believe that it will be the perfect way to begin an important season,” he said.
