Stefanos Tsitsipas has expressed his love for his father and coach Apostolos while confirming that he will always stay an integral part of his coaching team.
Tsitsipas has been coached by his father since he was three years old and Apostolos remains his primary coach to this day. The Greek player boasts a career-high ranking of World No. 3 and has reached the final of two Grand Slams - the 2021 French Open and the 2023 Australian Open.
Tsitsipas has also won ten ATP singles titles so far in his career, with his most recent victory coming at the Los Cabos Open in August. Most recently, he competed at the China Open where he suffered a shock first-round defeat to Nicolas Jarry.

Tsitsipas has "no intention" of ever removing father from coaching team

The 24-year-old has previously opened up about the dynamic between himself and his father when it comes to the sport, saying that it can be challenging at times. Tsitsipas has been urged to have other voices in his box at matches after tensions between father and son boiled over at times.
He has worked with Mark Philippoussis on and off throughout this season but the pair parted ways again at the end of the summer. Despite his confrontations with his father in the past, Tsitsipas insisted earlier this year that there was no need for change.
"The more I go older it represents more challenges to me to train with my dad. He is the right person for me [to train me]. We have different point of views, but he gives me different perspectives. It’s stressful at times," he said while competing at the Los Cabos Open.
Tsitsipas has since re-iterated this sentiment in an interview with ATP Tour.
"My dad has always been next to me. Even when he wasn’t there and people didn’t see him, he was always by my side, digitally. He’s here to stay. I have no intention of ever changing my dad or pushing him away," he said.
He added that he will not let rumors destroy his strong bond with his father.
"People are always going to try and create rumors or try to destroy what you have with someone who’s really close to you in any way or form. He’s someone who cannot be excluded," he continued.

Stefanos Tsitsipas says his dad will always be a part of his team, no matter what people say: “My dad has always been next to me. Even when he wasn’t there & people didn’t see him, he was always by my side, digitally. He’s here to stay. I have no intention of ever changing my…
