Nadal receives Silver Cross from Civil Guard

Rafael Nadal has received the Silver Cross from the Civil Guard earlier this week after previously not being able to receive it due to other commitments.

Nadal claimed it for promoting the National Interuniversity League of Challenges in Cyberspace; which was revealed by Marca.

The Spaniard when receiving the award called it 'a true honor'; he thanked the Civil Guard for the great work they do every day.

Lieutenant General Laurentino Ceña Coro spoke about the 'selfless support'; also of the Spaniard in helping with their projects and that him getting involved in it made it possible for over a thousand young people to participate.

It is another award for Nadal who continues to be involved in these projects; the fact he was there for the ceremony shows his commitment to the cause.
