"No feeling like playing with old friends": Ana Ivanovic and Martina Hingis share court in Geneva exhibition

Ana Ivanovic and Martina Hingis reunited for a special exhibition at the Geneva Open, participating in a mixed doubles match. They teamed up with French former players (both former world No. 5) Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Henri Leconte as the former tennis stars took center stage.
The tournament is celebrating its 10th anniversary as an ATP 250 event, and brought in 2008 French Open champion Ivanovic to face off against her former rival and five-time Grand Slam champion Martina Hingis.
Serbia's Ivanovic shared a few photos from the exhibition, expressing her joy at reuniting with her former colleague. Hingis and Ivanovic had faced each other twice during their careers, with a 1-1 head-to-head record.
It's worth noting that while the Swiss Hingis enjoyed most of her success between 1997-2000 (four Grand Slam titles and five finals), Ivanovic had not yet debuted professionally. The Serbian reached world No. 1 in 2008 after reaching the Australian Open final and winning the Roland Garros title.
"No other feeling like playing tennis with old friends,” posted Ivanovic on her Instagram account.

- BBC sports coverage blows anyway. Two most obvious reasons = They can't seem to shut their mouths often enough -- and they will bounce from one event to another at will. - Jimmy, how much more pause are you talking about? By the time the match ends to the time they stage is erected and they mount it to accept the award is about 10 minutes. All players are not at the same maturity level. Culture and one's upbringing has a LOT to do with how players each respond to a loss. Some players just need to learn how to exercise self-control.
