After
announcing a positive test for COVID-19 on Tuesday, 23rd June 2020, Novak Djokovic and his wife Jelena underwent a self-isolation. Novak and Jelena didn't suffer from any symptoms of the virus and they got tested as previously agreed with doctors. This time, their test was negative as reported by
Telegraf.
It now remains a question if a previous positive test of the world no. 1 will change the plans of Tour resumption. The
Adria Tour did what it promised and delivered high-quality tennis to fans in Serbia and Croatia. On the other hand, it needed to be canceled as some of the players tested positive for COVID-19. Still, during the Tour suspension, some exhibition tournaments are going as scheduled including the
All-American Team Cup. The ATP & WTA Tour should resume again in August and it remains a question if everything will go as planned.
