Osaka previously worked with Sascha Baijin up until this year's Australian Open and only joined forces with Jenkins in February.
The former World No.1 spoke about how grateful she was to Jenkins but that it felt appropriate to make a change.
"I'm super grateful for the time we spent together and the things I learned on and off court," she wrote, "but I feel like now is an appropriate time for a change."
It is unknown as of yet who will be taking over from Jenkins but with Osaka back in action in the Toray Pan Pacific Open and the Dongfeng Motor Wuhan Open, it will likely soon be revealed.
