Petra Kvitova gets engaged at her 'special place' to long term boyfriend

There was yet another happy memory for Petra Kvitova at Wimbledon as she get's engaged to her coach Jiri Vanek.
Kvitova has become champion of Wimbledon twice over the years once in 2011 and 2014 but this could arguably be her most precious moment at Wimbledon so far.
Kvitova began working with Vanek in November 2016 and now in 2022 the pair are now engaged.
It was announced on social media with a post saying “Happy news we wanted to share with you guys ... I said ‘yes’ in my special place,” said Kvitova, with a photo of the pair at Wimbledon.

- I heartily disagree with Stubbs here. I mean c'mon! The whole idea of giving out wildcards is to give new & up-coming players a chance at getting as much circuit match-practice under their belts as possible. And this is a HUGE must and opportunity for these new kids on the block. Why curtail opportunities for these newbies in favour of stalwart monopoly?? That just isn't fair. At least give these lesser known players a chance to become more familiar at playing in bigger tournaments & give them also a chance of getting the crowds behind these underdogs.
