The organizers of the Cincinnati Open announced the fan-favorite event will be introducing a modern and redecorated version of the prestigious trophy at this year's edition.
A joint ATP and WTA 1000 event, the Cincinnati Open will run from August 11-19, 2024. The beloved tournament is one of several that will precede the US Open, with the top stars vying for the title in addition to finalizing preparations for the final Grand Slam event of the season.
With the tournament set to bein in a week, the organizers took to social media shared some exciting news with fans. They released a short video, depicting the renovation of the distinguished trophy. There was a brief glimpse at the process behind manufacturing the trophy. However, the main difference seems to be the color, as this new version appears to be black, as opposed to the previous version, which was a mixture of silver and green.

American tennis prodigy Coco Gauff won her maiden WTA 1000 title in Cincinnati last year, before going on to capture her first Grand Slam title at Flushing Meadows. Serbian superstar Novak Djokovic lifted the title in the men's event, outlasting Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in an epic final.
