Jan-Lennard Struff spoke to the German BILD about the season resumption citing security for everyone as the most important thing going forward.

The 30-year old German tennis player is currently partaking in the bett1 Aces event in Berlin and he took time out of his schedule to speak to BILD. He expressed happiness about the season resumption saying:
"I am happy that the tournaments are taking place."
While he is happy the season is starting back up he highlighted the need for security and good protocols saying that the health and security of all involved must be the highest priority:
"But security is paramount and must be guaranteed for everyone involved. But I definitely want to go back to the court. I think it's very good that the tournaments are trying so hard to be held and drafting appropriate standards."
When asked about the Berlin event where he is set to play this week he said he was excited but he also knows how hard it is to get back to tennis after a long layoff:
"It is definitely difficult to play matches for a long time. Match practice goes away quickly. It takes a little time to get back in. Getting the rhythm is very important. I trained a little, but not as intensely as before and only two or three times a week."
Struff achieved his best ranking last year both in singles and doubles. He will be looking to better that once the season resumes in August.
