WTA legend Serena Williams recently celebrated her 7th wedding anniversary to husband Alexis Ohanian, with the duo playing a visit to their wedding venue alongside their two daughters.
Ohanian, the co-founder of Reddit, proposed to Williams in December 2016, with the couple having their first child, daughter Olympia, in September 2017. They would tie the knot two months later in November, in an exuberant ceremony at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion would give birth to her second daughter, Adira, in August 2023. A year later, the family would travel to New Orleans, where they paid a visit to the site of their wedding.
Ohanian took to social media to share some photos of the family spending time together at the place where they exchanged vows. Additionally, he would pen a heartfelt message to Williams to commemorate their seven-year wedding anniversary.
"7 years ago today, we got married here. Now we get to bring these two for beignets. Happy Anniversary 🎉 Thanks for giving me the two greatest humans we've ever met. You're an amazing mama. I'm very lucky to have met you @serenawilliams @olympiaohanian @adiraohanian," Ohanian captioned his Instagram post.
Conversely, Williams would also write a wholesome message to Ohanian. The former World No.1 expressed her appreciation on Ohanian being a great husband and father to their two kids, and thanking him for his thoughtfulness of celebrating their special day.
"7 years has gone so fast… Happy anniversary @alexisohanian thank you for being the best dad to our girls @olympiaohanian and @adiraohanian. Thanks for also making average November day a costume party and making it special. ❤️❣️," Serena Williams posted on Instagram.
