Serena Williams shared a video with her daughter Olympia, showing their care during her second pregnancy.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion retired from professional tennis after the 2022 US Open almost a year ago. Serena Williams stayed away from major events until the 2023 Met Gala in early May, when she made her second pregnancy public and showcased it on the red carpet:
"Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala," Williams wrote on Instagram alongside photos of herself in her outfit with her husband Alexis Ohanian.
On Saturday, July 15, the former world No. 1 posted a video on her YouTube channel, showcasing the products she uses to care for her belly. In the video titled "My Belly Routine with Olympia," Serena shows the products she uses in her morning routine to keep her belly healthy:
“When I had Olympia in my belly I didn’t really put a lot of thing on, I just put like lotions and stuff. This time around I’m like I don’t want to get any stretch marks,” Williams started,”
"I heard well, I saw where Mariah Carey said she used to take bath with like Vitamin E oil every single day now," she added later.
The American legend commented that her best friend had recommended some products, which elicited a reaction from Olympia. Serena clarified that her daughter, Olympia, is actually her best friend.
"People love it my best friend actually really loves it and she told me to get her some but, well, my other one of my other best friends, sorry, Olympia is my best friend," Williams added.
The 41-year-old multi-Grand Slam champion has won 73 WTA titles during her career and held the world No. 1 ranking for a total of 319 weeks, with 186 of those weeks being consecutive from February 2013 to September 2016. This achievement puts her on par with Steffi Graf for the most consecutive weeks as the top-ranked player.
