The current culture in the tennis world has seen some athletes undertake the collegiate route, before making the transition to the professional circuit. This is happening in both the ATP and WTA tours. Some already well-known tennis stars have siblings who are opting to try their hands at collegiate tennis, before making the move to the international stage.
