With the 2023 season in the books, tennis stars took some well-deserved time off, as the group of
Caroline Wozniacki,
Taylor Fritz and
Tommy Paul attended the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix on Sunday.
The Las Vegas Grand Prix was the 21st round of the 2023 Formula 1 season, with the city of Las Vegas hosting the prestigious race for the first time since 1982. As expected, there was much fanfare, with several celebrities showing up to witness the exciting battles between the top-ranked drivers. Max Verstappen emerged victories, marking his 18th win of the season.
Tennis stars show up to support the event
In addition to moguls from the entertainment industry, a few tennis stars attended the elite event. Not only were they spectators, but they were also given exclusive access to certain aspects of the event. Taylor Fritz, accompanied by girlfriend Morgan Riddle, explored the paddock, where they met some of the team members, and saw the cars up close. Riddle posted several pictures of her and Fritz on her Instagram account, showing them enjoying the VIP hospitality.
Caroline Wozniacki, along with husband David Lee, was invited by Ferrari, which enabled them to visit the Italian sportscar maker garage, where they saw the mechanics working on the cars. The 2018 Australian Open champion also met with her compatriot Kevin Magnussen, who is a racing driver for Haas F1 Team.
Tommy Paul was also at the race with his girlfriend Paige Lorenze. The couple watched the race from the grandstand, which afforded them a spectacular view of the event in it's entirety.
