All action: Nick Kyrgios takes to the court.
The teams have been drawn for the World Tennis League which is due to take place between December 17-20. Big news for the home hope in particular is that Daniil Medvedev will team with Rohan Bopanna for the defending champions Game Changers Falcons.
Bopanna will shortly retire so will get a heroes welcome back home in India where the tournament will be held for the first time. World Number 13 Medvedev teams with Bopanna, Magda Linette and Sahaja Yamalapalli with the tournament also seeing top Indians team with the greats in a new move to create new stars in this exhibition format.

Exhibition format returns the same but different

A usual main part of the post tennis season calendar, it takes place again in December but not in the UAE. In addition not including Elena Rybakina who has become a bit of a staple of the event but she withdrew and will now only play in Shenzhen before she heads down under to Brisbane to compete in the first week of the new season.
"The squad is led by Medvedev's court dominance and Bopanna's doubles expertise. With Magda and Sahaja adding depth and versatility, we are looking at a power-packed season ahead," Game Changers Falcons' Amandeep Singh stated.
While Denis Shapovalov leads the Hawks side which also features Yuki Bhambri, Elina Svitolina and Maaya Revathi. Svitolina as a result who was a late replacement for Rybakina while Shapovalov was for Arthur Fils will see the Ukrainian likely have to tangle with her husband Gael Monfils who plays for the Eagles.
"Shapovalov's explosive style, paired with the consistency of Bhambri and the resilience of Svitolina and Maaya, makes us a dynamic and adaptive unit," Vashu Bhagnani, owner of VB Realty Hawks said.
Nick Kyrgios also makes his return to action once more ahead of the mooted Battle of the Sexes with Aryna Sabalenka, he plays with Marta Kostyuk, Ankita Raina and Dhakshineshwar Suresh for the Kites.
"With Kyrgios' explosive serve and big-match temperament, Kostyuk's aggression, and strong Indian representation through Dhakshineshwar and Ankita Raina, the Aussie Mavericks Kites are built for high-impact, winning tennis," stated Dr Umed Shekhawat from Aussie Mavericks Kites.
While as alluded to Monfils leads the Eagles with Paula Badosa instead of Svitolina being the other top singles star in the field as well as home heroes Sumit Nagal and Shrivalli Bhamidipaty. As ever the World Tennis League sees a round robin format with a men's singles, women's singles and mixed doubles and they will then go through to the latter stages in each one before a winner is crowned.
"Monfils' charisma, Nagal's hunger, and the balanced depth with Paula and Shrivalli bring a lineup that is here to dominate WTL," Satender Pal Chhabra stated in a release.
