World number 32 in the ATP Ranking, Filip Krajinovic spoke about how he sees the current situation and what is his view on the US Open.

Krajinovic had a pretty good beginning of the season. He managed to win 9 out of 14 matches he played and reached the 32nd place in the ATP Ranking. He reached the semifinal in Montpellier and Rotterdam and the season looked good for him. However, after the whole ATP Tour was suspended until 13th July, Krajinovic could just train for the remaining part of the season. Now, he spoke to Sport Klub about how he sees the situation.
"All this came as a shock and I am disappointed because Wimbledon got cancelled, but on the other side we expected this. We keep regularly in touch with tournament organizers. We have our group on WhatsApp and they keep us updated on what’s happening. I am very sorry but the priority is to get through the coronavirus pandemic s safe as possible and to return to the court as soon as possible,” said Krajinovic.
“I hope the US Open will be held but I doubt that will happen. We all hope that the US Open will be played but if it is cancelled, I think our season will be over and will see each other next year," Krajinovic said.
