ATP Rankings Update: Thiem moves up to third, Fritz up 11 places after Acapulco run

The ATP Rankings have been updated after the latest set of tournaments with some major changes occurring this time around.

Dominic Thiem is into the top three in the world for the first time reaching a career high and breaking the dominance of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer who have held these positions for just under a year.

The Austrian has massively improved and has reached both finals at Roland Garros and Australian Open and will go into the next ATP Masters 1000 event at the Indian Wells Open looking to defend his title full of confidence after rising to this point.

Grigor Dimitrov has also moved up three places back into the top 20 after reaching the semi-finals at Acapulco losing out to Rafael Nadal. Speaking of Acapulco, Taylor Fritz who reached the final has moved up 11 spots into the top 25 after reaching the final in Mexico.

Dan Evans who had an excellent run in Dubai losing to eventual runner-up Stefanos Tsitsipas is also up nine places to his new position in 28th to continue his rise back up the rankings.
