Predictions Miami Open WTA
Samuel Gill, Head Editor for TennisUpToDate sees Karolina Muchova winning the title.
I think that Coco Gauff won't play in Miami so she won't figure. Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek I think will be up there but will just fall short.
Often WTA 1000 tournaments have produced surprise winners in regards to players just below the top three and I think it will be one of Karolina Muchova, Victoria Mboko or Amanda Anisimova who win this title.
At the same time though I would not be shocked to see Sabalenka retain come March 29.

** Victoria Mboko, Amanda Anisimova, Aryna Sabalenka
Lucas Michael, Editor for TennisUpToDate.com sees Amanda Anisimova crowned as champion.
Just before the WTA Tour makes the switch to clay, there is still one more huge hardcourt tournament set to be played out. The Miami Open has brought a huge number of storylines and drama throughout the past with the winner a tough one to choose.
Unlike the ATP to an extent, anyone can beat anyone with only a few players currently hitting their peak potential. One of them is Aryna Sabalenka who I see comfortably making it deep in this event. It is only whether she can get over the line, unlike a number of the tournaments she has recently played in. Her and two-time finalist Elena Rybakina go into it as the outright favourites but the queue behind them could make for an interesting conclusion.
Amanda Anisimova to win Miami?
I am not totally convinced about Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff, who may struggle with injury, with Mirra Andreeva’s form also being up and down. Last year’s runner-up Jessica Pegula will be wanting to go one further and has the capabilities of doing that after what has been a fantastic start to the year. A second WTA 1000 title of 2026 could be within touching distance but I am not going to predict her, or even anyone past mentioned.
Switching it up, I am going to pick Amanda Anisimova to return to the winning enclosure. Her level has improved recently, and the American has showed that she can grind out victories. I predict for a third WTA 1000 title to go the way of Anisimova in Florida.
