Serena Williams is one of the most successful tennis players in the history of women's tennis and she managed to win already 23 Grand Slam titles, but she still lacks one to level Margaret Court's record.

In the age of 17, Serena managed to win her first Grand Slam title at the US Open in 1999. Later, she managed to add another 22 to reach a total number of 23 Grand Slam titles. She was the most successful at the Australian Open and Wimbledon, where she managed to win a total number of 14 Grand Slam titles together.
But even though these numbers are incredible, there is still one woman ahead of her. Margaret Court managed to win 24 Grand Slam titles in her career when she won 11 of those at the Australian Open. Serena had won all of her major titles before giving birth to her daughter Alexis Olympia.
She struggles to win any title since 2017 and despite the fact she reached already 4 Grand Slam finals after her return, she did not manage to win any. The first time it was Angelique Kerber, who outplayed Serena in the 2017 Wimbledon final. Later it was the youngster Naomi Osaka, who defeated her in the 2018 US Open final. In 2019, Serena lost in 2 finals, first to Simona Halep at the Wimbledon and then to Bianca Andreescu at the US Open.
Any time Serena steps on the court of any Grand Slam tournament, all of the eyes are watching her and expect to level the record of Margaret Court. It is one of the biggest questions if she can win the 24th title with the new generation of players coming into the world of women's tennis including Bianca Andreescu, Sofia Kenin or Coco Gauff.
