Tiafoe's thought process before USA crash out of Davis Cup: "We are looking at flights and trying to get my a** home as quick as I can and spend it with my actual family"

Team USA lost out in the Davis Cup Finals meaning that at least one player got their wish of going home to spend Thanksgiving with his family being Frances Tiafoe.

Tiafoe and Taylor Fritz were part of a strong contingent only to get dumped out by Italy's charge including Lorenzo Sonego and Fabio Fognini and the former's mindset centred around getting home if at all possible if they lose.

"Well, if we win, we are just going to chill out and watch some American football and just chill and get ready for Saturday. If we don't win today, we are looking at flights and trying to get my a** home as quick as I can and spend it with my actual family," Tiafoe said before their defeat.

"You know what I mean? Kind of win-win, in a sense, but I'd much rather be here.
