Toni Nadal, uncle of Rafael Nadal has detailed the coaching methods that he utilises in the Rafa Nadal Academy which is currently in Manacor.

Nadal said that they use past experience with Rafa and find talented guys who have the same desire he had and make everyone have the dream of doing the same.
He also said that they are trying to make as many people as possible achieve their dreams and that they are aiming to find the new David Ferrer and Roberto Bautista-Agut's of the future.
"We are not able to say that the players we coach will be able to get the suggestions we give them in the same way, because that's mostly personal.
But in the Academy, we have as a main goal to work like I did with Rafael when he was a kid and then teenager. You need to find talented guys who have the same desire to learn like my nephew had. We exactly know what can work and we want to make Everyone dream of doing the same.
Tennis has changed a lot over the years. Rafael had to improve throughout his career, but now you have more time to achieve results, compared to what was happening 20 years ago. In the 2017 US Open final my nephew faced Kevin Anderson, who achieved his best result at 30 years of age.
Many players kept improving until the end of their career. It was not happening before. So at 23 years you are still young. We are trying to help as many players as possible to achieve their dreams. We have Jaume Munar but also Carlos Alcaraz, who may raise a lot in the rankings.
Feliciano Lopez, Ferrer, Bautista-Agut and others will soon be replaced. Casper Ruud can become a very good player. He often trains with Rafa";
