Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, the former World No.5 has continued his injury comeback playing in an event back in France on the ATP Challenger Tour.
Tsonga lost out in a five set thriller at the US Open in the first round against Tennys Sandgren and is now into the Semi-Finals in Cassis after seeing off Rayane Roumane in a 7-6, 6-3 win.
This time last year he had surgery on his knee to repair a torn meniscus and played in the Open d'Orleans as well, another Challenger event and will be hoping playing in these events will give him much needed match practice.
As a result, he is going down a similar route to Andy Murray who also played on the Challenger Tour recently after coming back from injury, losing out at the
Rafa Nadal Open in Manacor.
