Currently a set up on Anastasia Potapova and showing absolutely no fear, the only part of Mirra Andreeva's tennis rise that has shown it has been in meeting Andy Murray it seems.
Andreeva famously said that Murray had a beautiful face back at her landmark Madrid Open run.
Murray himself responded saying: “Imagine how good she’s going to be when she gets her eyes fixed."
It seems like the next chapter of the Andreeva-Murray story is that the 16-year-old Russian has met the former World No.1 but is still too shy to talk to him when quizzed about him in press.
“I met Andy Murray here. But I'm too shy to talk to him,” Andreeva said. “When I see him, I try to leave the facility super quick just to not to talk to him because I'm super shy.”
