The Italian Fabio Fognini was going to be a tennis star because of his talent, but he fell far behind expectations. Despite this he has had a solid career and is still in the fight at the age of 37. Not in vain did he win the Montemar Challenger in Spain a couple of weeks ago, which placed him in the top 90 of the ATP ranking and practically assured him of being able to play the next Australian Open.
Now more relaxed we have been able to enjoy another Fognini, and it has gone viral on social networks a video in which he is seen dancing unleashed in the Italian version of the program 'Dancing with the Stars'. Spectacular style of transalpine dancing a classic rock in the style of John Travolta in Grease.
Commentator Bastien Fachan, with a lot of bad blood, had this to say about it, "He really hasn't tried this hard since he knocked out Nadal in Monte Carlo 2019."
The truth is that Fognini's career has been well below expectations. He reached world number 9 precisely in that 2019 in which he achieved the greatest success of his career by winning the Monte Carlo Masters 1000. Mind you, it is the last of the 9 ATP titles he accumulated in his career in singles.

- Having spent weeks and weeks through the years on tour, I can say with confidence that Conchita was (is) one of the very few who realize the surprising level of maturity (and sometimes lack of) which Mirra seems to have developed in such a demanding adult world of Pro-Tennis. While at the same time reminding herself (Conchita, that is) that Mirra is still young and developing mentally and physically.
