Dayana Yastremska is helping people in Ukraine by delivering food sets to people in need.
Yastremska is one of the most talented Ukrainian tennis players. Only 19-years-old Dayana has won already 3 WTA titles in her career and defeated many quality players. She started the 2020 season with 10 victories in 15 matches. Now, she shows that she knows that life off the court is also very important. Dayana shared a photo of herself in the room with food sets that she was about to deliver with volunteers. Yastresmka also asks others for help when she wrote:
"Before the end of the day, the first 1000 food sets will go to grandparents, great moms and families left without income. An often asked question: 'How do you know who needs delivery?' We don't ask for any proof and don't contact social services for lists because we know that many people have not managed to register or they just feel uncomfortable asking for help. But we are connected with community organizations, our volunteers, with the presidents of the OSMD, Channel 7 staff, and many other organizations that know exactly who needs our help right now. We also see all your applications in private messages and try to help if possible. Join us! We still really need volunteers," Yastremska wrote.
