The Swede has nothing but words of praise for the Greek star after being beaten by him in the Open 13's round of 16.

Mikael Ymer was beaten 6-1,6-3 by his good friend Stefanos Tsitsipas in the Open 13's round of 16. But the 21-year-old took his defeat well and talked about how the Greek star has been helping him with his tennis on Instagram.

Ymer said he asked Tsitsipas for help a year ago. And the current world no 75 is surprised that the Greek really took time to help. Ymer praised Tsitsipas for his kindness and said it's unusual to see someone as successful as the Greek star so kind.

“I messaged Stefanos about a year ago asking him for some help and thoughts on my tennis. Not many people have taken the time to help me like he did. For someone to have the amount of success that he’s had and stay the same kind hearted person he’s always been is very deep. Genuinely very happy for all of your success and thank you for leading the way," Ymer wrote on his Instagram page.

Apostolos Tsitsipas, father of Stefanos Tsitsipas, responded to Ymer's post and left some words of encouragement.

"Different roads, different paths but sharing the same life and they are pursuing the same destination. Some will arrive there earlier and some will be the guide for the rest. But soon, they will meet at the destination and enjoy together all those beautiful journey. Well done boys, keep going, " Apostolos Tsitsipas wrote.

Ymer is slowly but surely climbing up in the rankings. And it's possible he breaks into the top 50 of the ATP rankings before this year runs out.
