Bryan Brothers receive city keys in Delray Beach

Bob and Mike Bryan are legends of the tennis game and one of their favorite places to come back every year is Delray Beach and now they have been honored for it.

Bob and Mike Bryan have won the Delray Beach Open doubles title five times. The city decided to honor them because not only have they had a profound impact on the tournament they also love playing here. Keys to the city were they reward and they were extremely happy to receive them. Bob snuck in a lighthearted joke which was well received by the crowd.

During the ceremony Bob commented:

”Thanks for this prestigious key. If there’s something missing from your house tonight, it’s probably [because of] this. This is a very special place to us. It’s our hometown tournament, a lot of special memories.”

2020 will be their 13th appearance in the tournament. They are the number one seeds so they might win their sixth title.
