Really, and what does he have to say about Rafa injecting his foot with a substance that would be banned in cycling? I suggest that you Madiot, more like idiot, sticks to his own lane and respect the Davis Cup anti-doping agency and the ITA decision and stop being nosey. It's already past tense, he doesn't have to prove anything to him or any other Tom, Dick or Idiot29-11-2023 10:38

clearly he doesn't think it's 'a silly little jab' or he'd have taken it and it's his career to destroy, not yours or mine. Sure, as his supporter (fan = fanatic), we would love to see him play and not be embroiled in controversy but he has said to respect his decision. If looking after one's own body is deemed selfish then you need to rephrase that to 'mind your own business' as he's minding his23-07-2022 21:14

why don't they (Wimbledon officials) just ask him. And while we are on the topic when are the ITF going to re-introduce random blood testing especially during the majors; as was asked of Andy Murray at his recent press conference. So it clearly is a concern for many of the players that there is no testing done. He said it has been stopped since the Covid outbreak when there was no tennis being played. This comment is not aimed at Djokovic per se but all players participating07-07-2022 14:01

It's a standard term used in tennis, everyone uses it, even the commentators. Sure it's strange and took me a while to understand it's usage. It comes from the Native American Indians act, and is the terminology to mean a victory. Where it first came in, I have no idea. A few words have changed in tennis over the years!03-07-2022 00:35

There are currently over 50 wars going on in the world at the moment. If governments ban players of their choosing there will be nobody left to compete. The premise of sport is to allow individuals to participate regardless of their nationality. Those are the rules of the governing bodies so of course they can't allow an individual country to arbitrarily discriminate against players. Though no one in their right minds supports dictators10-06-2022 14:59

Of course he will attend, was that ever in doubt? With the help of cortisone injections he will be fit as a fiddle to play10-06-2022 14:50

He's his coach and qualified to make an analysis of Djoko's performance. None of your business but its his job in case you don't know07-06-2022 01:39

since when does England have a say in what concerns Europe? none since you decided to exit. I understand the threat of nukes on Britain but your special relationship with the US is your comfort blanket. Most tennis tournaments and fans don't care to mix politics with sport, so doubt they even consider Novak's nationality. It's only an issue for the UK, hence the ban and the Yanks who are anti Russian anyway04-06-2022 15:24
