2021 bett1 Open Berlin Draw released including Sabalenka, Andreescu and Azarenka

As part of the grass court preparation for Wimbledon, various tournaments are taking place over Europe including the bett1 Open which is set for Berlin, Germany between June 14-20 including a stellar line-up.

While multiple big names including Ashleigh Barty, Naomi Osaka, Iga Swiatek and Maria Sakkari who were originally in the field have decided to not start their grass court preparations in Germany, various others have.

These include Aryna Sabalenka who will be number one seed after her exit from Roland Garros to eventual runner-up, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova. She will face either Madison Keys or a qualifier.

While her compatriot, Victoria Azarenka who she will team with in the doubles is involved and takes on Andrea Petkovic. The victor of that faces Angelique Kerber or a qualifier.

While Garbine Muguruza faces a tough start against in-form Sorana Cirstea after her early exit from Roland Garros to Marta Kostyuk.

Bianca Andreescu will face Amanda Anisimova or Alise Cornet in Round Two in a new look for the Canadian who has decided to end her partnership with long-time coach, Sylvain Bruneau recently.
