2021 Wimbledon WTA Draw released - Barty to face Suarez-Navarro, Andreescu-Cornet and Williams-Sasnovich among other top ties

The draw has been released on the WTA side ahead of Wimbledon beginning on Monday 28 June at the All England Lawn and Tennis Club.
Set to last until Sunday 11 July, the draw was blown wide open further with the news on Friday morning that Simona Halep, the defending champion has withdrawn from the tournament as she joins Naomi Osaka as the two high profile withdrawals from the field.
Ashleigh Barty is top seed and will take on Carla Suarez Navarro in her last Wimbledon. Bianca Andreescu will face Alize Cornet in a tough first assignment for the former US Open champion.
Recent first time Grand Slam winner, Barbora Krejcikova will take on Clara Tauson. Serena Williams will aim for number 24 once more and will face Aliaksandra Sasnovich in her opener.
Other ties include, Iga Swiatek facing Su-Wei Hsieh, Garbine Muguruza taking on Fiona Ferro. While for Aryna Sabalenka who is now second seed, it will be a qualifier/lucky loser with those set to be completed today.
