The Championnats Banque Nationale De Granby is a WTA 250 event that is held in Granby, Canada from August 21-27, 2022, one week before the commencement of the US Open.
This event gives players the final opportunity to prepare for the last Grand Slam of the season, with several stars participating in order to finetune their skillsets and strategy.
This year's tournament will be the inaugural edition, and will feature big-hitting Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia as the top seed. Joining her in Granby are the unpredictable Belgian Alison Van Uytvanck, Italian Jasmine Paolini and Hungarian Anna Bondar.
The event features a 32-woman singles field, with other exciting names like Kaja Juvan and Nuria Parrizas Diaz joining the fray. Each player will be eager to write their name in history, as the first winner of this inaugural event.
