The San Diego Open returns with a bang this year as a WTA 500 event, a packed field an some good prize money.
This year marks the return of the San Diego Open into the WTA calendar as this is the first event since 2015 when the last edition was held. It's going to be a great event as it's a WTA 500 event that has $757,900 prize money and a packed field.
Players like Iga Swiatek, Paula Badosa, Aryna Sabalenka, Jessica Pegula, Maria Sakkari and Coco Gauff will all be attending. The winner will walk away with $116,340 along with 470 WTA points. The losing player in the final will get $71,960 while the semi-finalists will get $42,010.
